A developmental track & field meet open to boys and girls ages 8-14

When: Sunday, February 2, 2020, 2:00 p.m.
Where: Kennedy Middle School, 655 Lexington St., Waltham, MA 02452
Enter through doors at the back of the building - door #9 - just to the left of the rear entrance doors
The track is an 11 lap, flat track with a smooth surface - NO SPIKES!!
Time: 2:00 p.m. - DOORS OPEN AT 1:30 NO DAY OF MEET REGISTRATION
Ages Groups: 8-10, 11-12, 13-14 - Age is on February 2, 2020. 8 yrs old is the minimum age
Registration: Registration is closed
Fee: $5.00 pre-registered by January 27, 2020 Entry must be received by this date
$10.00 after Jan 27, 2020 if room. Early registration is strongly encouraged - Meet limited to first 200 Checks payable to: Waltham Track Club NO DAY OF MEET REGISTRATON
Participants may enter one (1) field event and two (2) track events, plus the standing long jump.
Events: 55 dash, 200, 400, 800, mile, 800 race walk, Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump, Stand.LJ
2 attempts in LJ, SP, no finals. If numbers & time allow, 3 attempts will be given.
Order Of Events
(1:30-2:00) - registration
(2:00) Long Jump 8-10 LJ followed by 13-14 LJ followed by 11-12 LJ
Shot Put (6lb) 11-12 LJ followed by 8-10 followed by 13-14 (may combine ages)
High Jump 13-14 HJ followed by 11-12 HJ followed by 8-10 HJ
Standing LJ is ongoing for all age groups starting at 3:00 p.m.
