As part of the Waltham Track Club’s commitment to provide a fun and safe environment for its athletes, the club enforces its CORI policy in compliance with state laws. CORI is applicable to the criminal history screening of prospective and current Board of Directors members, coaches, and volunteers. Where Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and other criminal history checks may be part of the general background check for volunteer work, the practices and procedures described in the attached policy document are followed throughout the year at all practices, competitions and other events.
