As you hopefully know, our Spring Program is set to start this Monday, April 25, for all 11-12 and 13-14-year-old boys and girls.
All 11-12 and 13-14-year-olds should report, dressed to practice, by 6:00. All 8-10 boys and girls will start Thursday, April 28.
Members should bring plenty of water and warm clothing – better to have and not need than to need and not have. Please label all clothing and personal items with member’s names so “when” they leave things behind, we know who the items belong to.
Members should report the end of the East side of the home stands, near the red concession shack and across from the finish line. We will have a brief meeting to discuss the practice format – then do a quick warm up – then break members into age groups to begin practice.
We will try our best to cover all events. Though we always try to finish by 8:00, due to our large numbers, it will probably run a little later.
We will also give out each member’s t-shirt and competition number – at the end of practice – so this will take a little more time, as well.
Parents should still plan on an 8:00 pick up, just to be sure that you are on time.
This Monday and the following Monday will be centered on instruction and practice time for all 11-12 and 13-14 boys and girls. The next 2 Thursdays will do the same for all 8-10 boys and girls. Two weeks from this Monday, (May 9), all ages and genders will begin our competitions, which will then be held every Monday and Thursday thereafter.
Parents assigned to First Aid this Monday and Thursday should report by 6:00 – your First Aid table, with supplies, will be already set up for you. Dress warm. “Hopefully”, you will be bored silly with nothing to do – bring a book.
